Service Description

CEvident is a compliance evidence and verification platform designed to help licensed professionals and organizations track, verify, and defend continuing education (CE) compliance.

Important: CEvident is not a credentialing authority. We provide a system of record for compliance evidence and deterministic compliance calculations based on published requirements and user-provided evidence. Users are responsible for verifying all information with their state licensing board.

User Responsibilities
  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account
  • You are responsible for the accuracy of data you upload
  • You must not upload patient information or protected health information (PHI)
  • You must comply with all applicable laws and regulations
  • You must verify compliance requirements with your state licensing board
  • You are responsible for ensuring your use of the Service complies with your organization's policies
Coverage and Limitations

CEvident provides compliance calculations for jurisdictions and license types where we have modeled requirements. Coverage status is clearly labeled as SUPPORTED, PARTIAL, or NOT_SUPPORTED.

For jurisdictions with PARTIAL or NOT_SUPPORTED coverage, you must verify requirements directly with your state licensing board. We do not claim universal coverage across all states or license types.

Disclaimers

Not Legal Advice

The Service does not provide legal advice. Compliance calculations are based on published requirements and user-provided evidence, but do not constitute legal or professional advice.

Not a Credentialing Authority

We are not a credentialing authority and do not make credentialing decisions. State licensing boards are the sole authority for determining compliance and credentialing status.

Accuracy

While we strive for accuracy, we do not guarantee that compliance calculations will be accepted by state licensing boards. Users are responsible for verifying all information.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, CEvident shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses resulting from your use of the Service.

Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account and access to the Service immediately, without prior notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms of Service or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties.
